The product works and is useful in certain situations, but very dirty. These are welds on 1" diameter square aluminum alloy poles strong enough to support a person who can hop/jump on them. Since aluminum quickly dissipates heat, it is very difficult to maintain constant heat of the welded object, but this is not directly related to the product. Poles are heavily soiled 98% of the time, causing drips, puddles, stains, discoloration and even pitting. It's not known how to get 100% consistently good results with these rods (many YouTubers have tried), but as they work it's highly recommended that you only use them in invisible places. Rods are expensive because they are very flimsy so you can get more bang for your buck by choosing another brand that makes a very similar product.
