One works great the other not so good

bought for reptile cages with sliding doors to keep animals inside not humans so can't speak to their safety. They serve their purpose. You may need to add some spacers under the front bar to easily install the lock (I just use a folded paper towel). One of them works great and slides in and out very easily. The other one seems to get stuck in the middle and it takes a lot of effort to push it through each time. I tried lubricating it but it didn't help much. So it seems to depend on luck whether you get a good one or not.
