Though it looks purple, that was with a flash and up close, from far away it’s not noticeable. I can’t upload the picture of how it looks far away or in low light.So if it’s during the daytime you should be fine, but if it’s night time or in low light, I would suggest a wig. My hair is black and although I was impressed with coverage it just doesn’t show I low light/night time which is what I used it for (Halloween).Also it makes hair really stiff, and trying to mix products to straighten my hair kinda washed out the color (made hair curly when it was straightened, and came out when I tried to straighten when dried)… so yeah.It fun for a strand or so but not the whole head.
