UPDATE 08/06/2021: Took about 5 months. Already worn out. I place them on two dining chairs that are used twice a day, once for lunch and once for dinner. I noticed some scratches on our floor and turned the chairs over to find that the glides were worn. The nylon used is very soft and not durable. Also note that they will scratch your floor before you realize they are worn out. (See new images.) --- ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW --- I usually don't think there is any good in the corporate world because it's "nothing personal, just business". I understand that, but it makes me tired. But who doesn't love Revain? This Revain product is what we expect from Revain. This is a quality product at a (very) fair price. When I ordered these I must have assumed they were 1 inch sliders, but when I received them I knew they weren't. I measured them at 3/4 inch. , and a bit small for chairs with thicker legs. I have used other brands in the past and at some point I have a tendency to dig into the ground or otherwise just tear out. I was glad they hadn't - yet. They glide smoothly as my 228 pound body sits on and slides across. They also make a very quiet sliding noise. As long as they serve, I am content with them. The upper part that comes into contact with the furniture is made of rubber, while the lower part is made of nylon. I don't know why they aren't all nylon, but it might have something to do with the softer rubber holding them to the chair legs better than the hard nylon. This is just a guess. The only downside is that I would like to see them in a 1 inch size. More surface area means weight is better distributed, contributing to longer pad life and a more reliable last.
