Review on EBC Brakes DP31687C Redstuff Ceramic by Derrick Bellando

I have a 2004 Subaru Wrx and these pads are not for my car. I've ridden them about 3000 miles and they turned my rotors into hotspots. I spoke to the guys at EBC and they confirmed that I bought the wrong pads for my car which was causing the hot spots and took care of me by giving me a set of Yellow Stuff pads to replace who provided Red Stuff pads. 100% Superior Customer Service for EBC. AFTER I explained to them that their website says Red Stuff is great for my race car. I was told I bought the wrong pads. So if you have a Subaru wrx, don't buy red stuff, buy yellow stuff. The yellow material is for "heavier vehicles" (according to EBC). I've had them installed on my car for about 500 miles now and these things are much better. I hope it stays that way.
