iPad not getting power
Due to the design of this device, it cannot provide power and data to iPad at the same time. Because the iPad has only one connector, you must use that connector for both power and data. This device can be powered by a laptop, but not an iPad. If you connect an external power source to this device's USB-C jack, this device (along with data from the Ethernet port) will be powered and sent to the iPad via USB-C, but it will NOT be powering the iPad Device was designed by for a computer that is already powered by another method.
