I tried to use this on M1 Mac mini to import HDMI from Nintendo Switch and PC. I have another low latency capture device and was hoping it would be better with a faster USB.1 available. The included cables are very short and the USB-C to C cable is junk, a very intermittent, tortuous connection. When the cables worked, the signal from both devices was faint and had a lot of noise. I've tried multiple setups and connected to 3 different computers and mediocre video quality was the only consistent result I got from this one. If I didn't know better I might not be too disappointed for the price, but the other one I'm using is the same price and works better (although it doesn't have an HDMI pass-through connector). I plan to keep it in my bag for unexpected uses so I can keep what I like attached to it. So maybe the best I can say is that it's good enough not to be worth returning?
