Review on AT EL51203 Waiting Cordless Handsets by Melissa Morales

I needed to replace my very old phone from before December 6th. I'm happy because this AT&T phone automatically works in Eco mode, which isn't even mentioned in the product description. When the handset is close to the base unit, the power output from both units is automatically reduced. Right now it's about 25 feet from base and still on economy mode. I put off buying a Dect 6 phone for years because I didn't want high EMI 24/7. I'm happy with the features of this phone (caller ID memory, volume control, speakerphone) considering how cheap it is. Note that it doesn't have an autoresponder. I previously purchased an AT&T answering machine and it continues to work well for me when connected to this new phone system. The only thing I noticed is that the standby battery life seems a bit short (maybe five days). but I just have to remember to put the handset back on the base. I would buy this again.
