Review on 🌺 Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Dryer Sheets - Fabric Softener with Essential Oils, Honeysuckle Scent - Reduces Static - 80 Count - Cruelty Free Formula by Chris Ryokan

We live in a very arid climate in the Southwest. I usually use 2-4 sheets of regular drying sheets to avoid static electricity. I know this isn't very good, but the statics here are really really bad and this is the only way I've found to solve this problem. However, I recently tried balls of wool for drying - not expecting much - and was amazed that I was able to reduce the amount of laundry to one sheet per load, and the balls of wool made the laundry very soft and wrinkle free. I tried without a sheet and unfortunately I still had static. Hoping I could do even better, I opted for a more natural product. They arrived in the mail and when I opened the box I was hit with a strong scent of honeysuckle. I'm very fond of honeysuckle and it doesn't seem to be very common these days so I was happy with that. Note: Most of the time I'm not overly sensitive to smells. I was so excited to try them, but unfortunately they just didn't work for static electricity - no less - and I didn't notice any difference in softness compared to wool dryer balls. To test it out, I tried using 2 and then 3 sheets per load, believing they were better for the environment than my old sheets, but unfortunately my clothes ended up getting static every time. I really wanted them to work, but they don't work in my circumstances. Although I like the smell, I use these sheets hidden in the closet, drawers and shoes. At least they won't go to waste, but as a dryer I wouldn't recommend them unless you live in a climate that doesn't cause static electricity on your clothes. So one star for the effectiveness of the product (it can be different for me) and another star for the wonderful scent. I would really like this product to meet my needs but I love the scent and am tempted to try some of the other products in this scent as I use Mrs Meyers for soaps and spray cleansers. Maybe I'll try washing powder. :-) Sorry for the harsh criticism, but it's meant to help others make the right choice for them, so I hope it helps anyway. Much luck!
