Doesn't turn off when room temperature is reached

Bought to warm the bathroom at night as we don't have a heater in the main bathroom. I set the thermostat to 67 degrees. When we got up in the morning, it was 74-76 degrees in the bathroom and the heating was still working. After checking several times, we found that the thermostat was not working at all. I contacted their support, they first said this is not for bathrooms and then a bunch of nonsense about it just heating the air around it, blah blah blah. So we return. You don't want your electric bill to skyrocket because the heater won't turn off.
