My commercial Oreck had a problem with it being difficult to slide over carpet. YouTube Help. Nuts wear out the whisk, so over time the vacuum cleaner's nozzle comes into contact with the carpet and increases the resistance to the vacuum's pulling/pushing. I was surprised at how easy the Oreck was to maintain. Even an idiot like me can watch YouTube videos and service every part of this vacuum cleaner. I compared my new whisk to the original factory handle - I couldn't tell them apart except for the wear and tear of the original. I've been using the new handle for about a month and expect the new whisk to last me for many years to come. I recommend wearing gloves but otherwise an easy fix. I assume it will take 15 minutes or less next time. If you need this beater model, I strongly recommend this supplier.
