Works perfectly 24/7/365.

I bought this board for a weak computer that I set up as a Debian based NTP server for my local network. For the time source I used a one pulse per second GPS receiver connected to this serial board. The card installed in a low-profile PCI slot and got up and running from Linux with no issues. Set up the NTP software to read data from this communication port and voila! and Layer One NTP Server was born. This card works perfectly 24/7/365. Highly recommended.
