Mac Pro 5.1 Best Network Card

Installation was easy thanks to previous comments. Here's what I did and it works great.1. Remove Wi-Fi and Bluetooth cards.2. Insert a new Wi-Fi/BT card into the adapter. Expect some pressure to put it.3. Insert the adapter into the Wi-Fi4 card slot. Convert the included cables to a 2-pin, female reversible USB cable. The easiest way is to simply strip the wire ends of the two cables provided (leaving the little white connectors on the ends) and twist them together, black to black and red to red, and glue them together. Connect one end of the newly made cable to the adapter's USB port (small white plug). Only fits in one direction. Connect the other end to the top two pins of the 4-pin USB BT Remote Card connector. This is important, the top (outer) pin (when viewing the Mac in a vertical position) must be connected to the black wire. Make sure there are two exposed pins under the two-pin connector. It's very easy to overlook and put the fork in the middle. The connector only moves slightly in one direction. but it is difficult to place it on the top two pins. On boot, reset the NVRAM (cmd /opt /p /r). Note: You can buy this cable instead of making it: LATTECH 30 pcs both sides - 150 mm 1571 28 AWG and 60 pcs. 2 pin 1.25mm connector This is a data cable, not a power cable. Go to the black wire. When the Mac is stopped, the black wire is on the left.
