I bought this little guy just before the terrible weather came. Luckily I saved the electricity and didn't have to use it but I am totally blown away by the quality of this radio for the money I paid. It's actually solid and has a compartment at the bottom so you can remove the battery and solder on a spare when the time comes. The light isn't incredibly bright if you're used to 18650 flashlights, but that would put you off playing around in the dark. The radio picks up stations on all bands perfectly and sounds decent enough to help you get through those dreary, dark nights when bad weather rolls in. The solar charging seems to work, when I place it under a table lamp the charging LED lights up. The hand crank also seems to work. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this little fellow to anyone buying a weather radio.
