I have a California rag and this model is just as good, maybe better because you can extend the handle if needed. The only downside is that the handle doesn't fit snugly in the head. After wiping the section, I usually shake the rag and the head flies off the handle. I pushed it back really hard, but now I'm holding it where the two parts meet when I shake it. In any case, this small problem would not deter the purchase. It is a reliable device and well worth the price. I have matte color, no streaks and scratches were not.
