I don't think people should be complaining so much about the controls. There's a "fast set" menu designed specifically for "dummies," with all the options you'll need in a single interface. Power: +3 in my book. A box the size of 1.5 packs of cigarettes is just as effective as the 4-antenna version at penetrating walls. If I give both networks the same name (as suggested by the manufacturer), my gadgets refuse to use the 5 GHz channel and instead stick to the 2.4 GHz one. Separating 5 GHz networks allows all devices to see clearly and function normally.
