Review on Thinkscan Scanner Engine Reader Service by Nick Whitman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

What a great tool for the price!

Delivery was fast and the packaging is the same as a store pickup. After taking this scanner out of the box, you need to plug it in and turn it on. After turning it on, connect it to Wi-Fi and then it's ready to update. The update takes about 20 minutes. Now it is ready to work with the most modern system. This Wi-Fi upgrade is free for life. As a side note, this tool only has a few minor maintenance features. The great thing is that you have the option to purchase other service features like coding and the like. Almost what you would want if you had a shop. As for home use, it has everything you need and more. You can use it to run codes and clear codes. Other features include real-time date, I/M readiness, freeze frame, on-board monitoring and if your vehicle is comparable, you can perform an EVAP test. When the code comes up, it has a built-in DTC library for you to look up. You can also take screenshots and send emails to yourself. It can also check the battery voltage to make sure it is well charged. The scanner itself is really good. It's anything but cheap. I got my first thinkscan diagnostic scanner a few years ago and that's really all I'll be using now. They offer almost every type of diagnostic tool needed to fix and code a vehicle. I can also vouch for their support team because a while ago they told me about some things I was having trouble with another tool and they are still in touch and always make sure everything is ok. I couldn't ask for anything better. Basically I got this scanner when my wife and I go on vacation with the kids. You won't believe how useful it is to always have a scanner handy, especially one like this. What I also really like is the touchscreen. It's just super pretty. If you are new to using scanning tools, the company offers online videos that teach users how to use them properly. They have a website that also has videos about their products and support. Thinkscan has always been a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend this tool to all homeowners who repair their car themselves.
