Vacuum cleaner HAS suction power

God. All the people who gave it bad reviews and complained that the vacuum can't suck anything didn't realize that the vacuum "gun" has a flap that you have to open before you put it on the bug can apply. This flap is controlled by the LARGE BLACK SWITCH ON THE SIDE OF THE UNIT. Its purpose is to allow you to catch the bug you just sucked up without having to constantly sit there and suck to keep it from running away. If anyone wants to challenge me, take your "broken" vacuum gun outside, open the hatch, stick the tip in the dirt, and pull the trigger. I guarantee you will have a face full of sand in no time. Thank you to the 70% of you who actually took the time to look at the vacuum cleaner and/or the instructions that came with it. As for the product rating. Any product that extends the time you spend with your child socializing and having fun is recommended. It's not a perfect product, but it's not meant to be a crazy science lab either. This is an inexpensive educational/STEM toy for kids and their guardians to have fun in the garden. Pros: - Toddler loves it. Repeatedly asked to check delivery more than check status of my items haha. Shortly after he arrived we were outside collecting lots of bugs. Mainly ants (big, small, black, red, flying etc) but we also caught spiders and bugs. Small children love bright colors. Viewing in dark rooms. Works very well as a cool little night light for your kids. - The bug box is large enough to place dirt and twigs/leaves to simulate a habitat while still giving the bugs room to move. - The vacuum gun was powerful enough to suck up even large concrete ants (see tips at the end of the review), but not powerful enough to damage them. Cons: - The vacuum cleaner spits sand and small rocks from the back of the gun straight into your face if you're not careful how you hold it. or what you suck Wearing goggles, even if they're regular sunglasses, is highly recommended, especially if you're driving the tip into the dirt. A bug lid can benefit greatly from some type of active hold, such as B. a normal clip. As is, the lid fits the box snugly and can easily pop off unexpectedly if a child grabs the edge to lift the box. Make sure your child knows this and knows how to handle a box. Nobody wants a bunch of dirt and bugs to get into their house. The small light in the lid is handy for very dark rooms and creates a cool atmosphere, but isn't really bright. However, this is more an area for improvement than an actual flaw in the product. The port used to add bugs to the box is a joke. It's one of those plug and twist connectors that doesn't work very well. It's easier to just push the plug back in after the bug has been added to the box, rather than trying to align the plug perfectly so you can plug in and rotate. Young children may find this type of plug a little cumbersome and may get frustrated if they don't have an adult to help them. *** Helpful Tips for a More Enjoyable Experience *** - The angle of attack must be vertical. to whatever you are trying to suck out the error. This means that the weapon must be pointed directly at the ground/wall/log when using it. Sealing all edges of the top opening well will create the turbulence needed to pry the bug out of what it's clinging to. INSECT HOLD VERY WELL, and you're definitely not buying a Dirt Devil or Shop-Vac when you buy this kit. Pay attention to the size of the beetle to be caught and compare this with the size of the breathing holes. in the lid. The tiny bugs are pretty good at escaping and can squeeze through many holes that don't necessarily look big enough to fit through. Waking up from the cobwebs between the box and your dresser can be a little unsettling for some people, especially parents who are already a bit squeamish about their kids keeping bugs around the house. Add about 1 inch of soil/soil and a few random branches. and walks away so your child can see how the bugs behave in a simulated natural environment. Spiders weave their webs between branches and ants, and other burrowing insects dig tunnels. - Add different types of food, especially pieces of fruit for creatures like ants that like candy. - Add a few drops of water. Not enough to pool and create a drowning hazard, but enough to lightly wet the ground. Like all other creatures, insects need water to survive. Adding food and water not only extends the life of the bugs, but also gives your child a lot more engagement and understanding with the bugs they are catching and studying. - Try mixing it up and adding a few different types of bugs. Watching ants dig and move materials while a beetle rumbles and a spider weaves its web above you will make a lot more observation and learning for you and your child.
