Maybe Bluetooth is being searched for in the background? This product works quite well for basic audio/video operations but has some issues. Pros: Easy programming with phone app. Bluetooth connected quickly and all steps were intuitive. The keys feel solid. Cons: The remote has an annoying bug. If you hold the button down for a second or two (e.g. to fast-forward on Roku), the remote freezes and the programming light comes on. After a few seconds, the display goes out and the remote control works normally again. In addition, a rather limited list of programming options with the application. Don't expect to cover legacy hardware or other audio/video component categories here.
