I also have numerous and annoying foot problems, to mention. I've tried all kinds of balls, rollers, stretchers, bedside tables, shoe racks, etc. This little ball is better, at least for my feet. This is because it has small raised 5 pointed stars unlike the rounded bumps found on most other balls/rollers. Dots apply thorough pressure and fall in places that require attention. This ball has no "give", it is firm and for some feet more effective than a ball that gives under pressure. I use it daily - I guess it stimulates circulation and massages trigger points - and for extended periods when I'm in pain. I experiment with different points and pressure. There were times when I used it for maybe 20 minutes at a time and felt a lot better afterwards. It relieves as I use it and seems to relieve what is causing pain during the day so the relief lasts for a while. Highly recommended. I've had mine for 4 years now and I buy more to keep one in my pocket and for an additional fee if I lose this one I skip it.
