I originally chose this seat over other seats because I mountain bike and it has a narrow front that prevents chafing while riding. When I received my seat I was very disappointed because it really isn't very soft. I gave it a good try and rode it a few times and while it didn't hurt my butt like my old seat, it wasn't comfortable by any means. I ended up switching it back to the Bell memory foam saddle which was cheaper and more comfortable. Overall I think this seat is better for the serious driver. Some things to consider when purchasing this seat: - It is not weatherproof at all. So if you commute (like me) and potentially get caught in the rain, this seat will absorb water. He has very little plush. I've heard it's better if you drive long distances regularly, but if you drive infrequently or take short trips you may prefer a softer seat. - Light weight and well made.
