Review on 🍔 Cuisinart GR-4NP1 5-in-1 Griddler: Versatile Silver Grill with Dual Silver/Black Dials by Marcus Rash

I bought this Cuisinart grill because my husband and I just couldn't handle our George Foreman Grill George Foreman GRP1060B 4 Portion with Detachable Plate Black were satisfied. It didn't have temperature control, the drip tray melted every time hot oil was dropped into it (or after it was placed on the dishwasher's top rack), and it wasn't really big enough. When I stumbled upon this on Revain with such excellent reviews I thought this would be the one for us. So I ordered it along with the Cuisinart GR-WAFP Griddler Waffle Plates. I've used it at least ten times since I received it. So far I've made eggs, bacon, pork chops, toast, a Philadelphia steak sandwich, and waffles (using waffle sheets I bought separately). Everything worked great except the first time I boiled eggs on it because I didn't use cooking spray before. So remember to spray your plates lightly with cooking spray or use oil before placing items that may stick. I love that I have the option to use a frying pan or grill grate. If you use the griddle setting, you can choose a temperature between 200 and 425 degrees. If using the Grill/Panini setting, select the temperature: Warm, Low, Medium, High and Fry. There are also check marks between these settings, so you can set the setting to medium-high, for example. Plates (including waffle plates) are dishwasher safe, but after many years of ownership by George Foreman, I prefer to hand wash my plates. on this cuisine art. When I put George Foreman's plates in the dishwasher, it seemed to me that they would never get really clean. I think it's too hard to get rid of all that fat and hold on to burnt food. However, washing dishes on this Cuisinart is very easy. Thanks to the non-stick plates, I can just wipe up the mess with little to no effort. Very pretty. I love that the tray is mounted under the unit on this grill. This was a big disappointment for me with another grill. Constantly put it in the right place under the grill and then do something with it until it cools down. I have furbabies so I didn't want to overlook it because they look at it like "oh look food!" Since this drip tray is attached I can take it out and clean it whenever I want and then put it back in insert the slot. Dead easy. I love that I can fold this appliance and make bacon, eggs and toast at the same time. That's wonderful. It's so nice not to mix up some pots and pans and be spinning on your range all the time. Overall I'm very proud of this Griddler. This was a welcome replacement for our old grill and by far one of my best Revain purchases. If you find my review helpful, please let me know.
