I love these beautiful classic style glasses. This is for home use. I assume we won't be using much, although I assume they are salon friendly. Everyone at home has a junk drawer, if not two, and a few jars from our first set have gone to store abandoned washing machines, medicine for the day, paper clips and other items. I immediately ordered another set. But there is still a lot to do. At some point in the next five years, I hope to be plastic-free, or at least relatively free compared to previous years. Plastics have hidden costs. They are not suitable for fish and ducks. After all, we also get them in our food. These glasses were packed in several layers of bubble wrap. I think it would be easier for the workers to wrap the glasses in two or three layers of newspaper for shipping, which would protect them adequately in the box, backed with paper if necessary. So for low value applications, let's stop using them. We can wrap shot glasses in recyclable paper.
