This IS NOT a metal roof Gazebo!

Make sure you read that right, THIS IS NOT A METAL ROOF GAZEBO! Now, that's on us. We thought we were buying a metal roof gazebo as we thought that is what we searched for, but in fact it's a "hard" top gazebo. The roof, except for the very peak, is polycarbonate - looks like plastic cardboard. Hopefully this will hold up over time, however I could see this easily getting punctured by a limb or other similar type of debris. Since our backyard is next to a golf course, hopefully it will hold up to an errant golf ball or two, but it's far enough away that we very rarely get golf balls that close to our patio. The assembly was fairly pretty easy. The two hardest parts were putting together the roof and getting the curtain and screen correctly hung. The roof is the only part that you really need multiple people to help on. We were able to put it all together in a matter of a few days with just my wife, our 14 year old son and myself. The instructions could be a little clearer, but the only thing I messed up on was not hanging the curtains properly the first time. They come with all 4 panels zipped together, so hung the short section on the long span and the long section on the short span. It would probably been better to unzip them and hang each section separately. It's not a study as I would have liked, does shake a little, but we aren't planning on using it as gym equipment, so it should be fine.Interested to see how well it holds up. It gets pretty windy in our back yard and there's no shade so I'll try and let everyone know how it holds up to the sun and weather in about 6 months.
