I am a big Thule fan and own many of their products. You know you pay more when you buy Thule branded products, but the quality you get is always disappointing! This backpack is no exception! I also have a Thule Rail hip pack and it's just as impressive! ADVANTAGES: (1) The magnetic strip that secures the hose is the best solution I've seen from any manufacturer. The hose sits perfectly on the magnetic strip every time, with practically no effort on the part of the user. This system allows you to conveniently have a drink with one hand while walking or cycling. (2) The large chamber is made of durable material that will last for years without leaking. It's easy to clean.(3) Despite its compact size, this backpack has enough space to store all your personal belongings, even when your hydration bladder is full. Jackets, a change of clothes, mobile phone, keys, purse, comb, glasses and snacks all have enough space next to a full water bladder. (4) There is no mention of water resistance in the description of the item, but I put the bag under the kitchen faucet briefly and it held up well with no water getting into the compartments. It should work well in light to moderate rain. It also comes with a removable rain cover that adds a second layer of protection in really bad weather.(5) All of the materials that make up this backpack are very durable and should last for years with normal use.(6) I am 5 ft 4 in, 155 lbs. My husband is 6ft, 250lbs. We both found this backpack comfortable to wear. A Level 1 removable back protector is available for those suffering from back issues.(7) STABILITY - This bag will not move once properly attached. You never have to worry about it loosening or falling off. when they made this product. For those who use e-bikes there is a dedicated space for a spare battery! All in all, like all Thule products, you can rely on this Thule backpack. This is a great addition to the Thule line.
