They are well built and compact but not too small for use. I bought them mainly just for the tape cutter and the shards. For that they are great and worth a good $7. I bought two and the flashlight was fine, but I had to bend the tab a bit and reinstall the flashlight body for the other to work. The flashlight is not very bright, but bright enough to replace a spare lamp in the dark. However, I wouldn't use it as a primary or even a secondary flashlight as it uses a momentary switch, isn't very well built and you need something with more power in an emergency.
