The device received, looks good. Very pleasant to touch buttons and switches. I've tried optical and USB and everything is connected with no problems. I'm updating my computer's audio setup, which currently works with my headphones plugged into my monitor, and I'm getting all audio from my graphics card's HDMI output. I have Bose headphones and computer speakers. I first noticed the issue with the device during my first Zoom meeting with it. There was a noticeable static echo of everything the others said. I blamed Zoom, of course. But then, upon retesting, I found that everything was fine. Even window pinging when adjusting volume has static echo/phantom noise. Tried both USB and optical input. I tried the headphone jack and the RCA output on my speakers, they all had the same hiss. In my current setup, there is no such noise at any volume. So I'm sending the device back. Not recommended due to the sound quality.
