Review on 🔧 DORMAN HELP! 65128 Transmission Drain Plug Kit: Efficient Solution for Easy Transmission Maintenance by Brian Samuel

I read all the reviews before buying but I was sure I could handle it. Fantastic for the price! Simply discard the 2 plastic washers and rubber o-ring on the drain plug. Just go to Ace Hardware and grab 2 copper washers that fit the outer screw and some thread tape. One copper washer inside, one outside, then we put the tape on the drain plug itself. No leaks! It's even better if you put some red threadlocker on the screw in the gearbox and some blue on the drain plug before tightening. I painted the outer copper disc black so it doesn't stand out. Great for adding a drain plug to a transmission that doesn't have one. What an amazing experience to be able to drain fluid instead of taking an oil bath. !Update: Replace these with a 1/2" EZ drain plug as I tend to overfill my transmission. The EZ drain plug allows for easy adjustment when refueling the transmission.
