I wanted a vintage clock for my kitchen and after bad experiences with other digital clocks I came across this. The look of this clock/radio was very appealing, but the price put me off at first. After reading the reviews it seemed like it would be a 50/50 take that I would end up enjoying. Luckily they had a used one for about $30-35 so I didn't feel too bad about the odds. When it arrived I liked the look more than the picture, the watch is bright and the sound is good. I still love it and use it in cooking. If you're looking for something with quality, crisp, clear sound, then this isn't it. Sounds like the stereo your grandma had in the 80's and 90's. It's nostalgia for me, especially when I'm playing the music I used to listen to as a kid. It's actually not the size you'd want to use as a bedside alarm clock. It's quite big, but I think it just fits the vintage. A disadvantage is the short cable. The power cord is only about 3 meters long.
