Does not protect seeds 100%
No big deal. It definitely traps the seeds, but if there aren't any below, the very dense seeds will just rain out of the ground. Also difficult to clean. I run my vacuum hose through to get the seeds out, but even that is no easy task. I would like to buy a plastic sheet to go around the bottom of the cage. I think it could do the job better. I have 8 parrots so they are very dirty. Maybe that's why I struggle so much with this product. It's really pretty and goes quite high in the cage.
