The perfect touch for my Christmas mantle
When turned off they look like real wax candles. When burning, the flames appear to flicker through the wax. They were bright red, not burgundy or cranberry. We put three in each of the lanterns, and two more separately closer to the center. I find that the place where the light is not visible cuts off a bit abruptly, but I'm still very happy with it. The remote control works great too.
