I bought these silicone gloves after too many burns on my fingers and forearms with cotton gloves, baking sheets and metal baking sheets from a 425 degree oven and didn't feel ZERO heat on my fingers and hands. I'm not so scared of briefly touching the oven rack with my bottom hands because they're covered now. The mittens are more flexible than I expected (see ) They are roomy for medium to large hands - I have a large glove size (see picture) potholders and would buy them again. PS They arrived quickly and well packaged.
