Great Griddle Best in Griddles

When I unpacked this pan I thought I had to return it. My stove is electric with a smooth glass surface. I needed a smooth bottom grille for the bridge element; A photo of the bottom of the pan was not posted. My heart sank when I saw that there was a small protrusion around the bottom perimeter and that the pan was not resting squarely on the bridge. However, I decided to see how it works before sending it back. To my great delight and surprise, the pan worked very well. I fried bacon and eggs on it two mornings in a row. I also made a cheese and ham sandwich. It works well at moderately low heat and will burn food when the heating elements are on. I think tomorrow he'll pass the pancake test. I've already decided that this frying pan is a keeper. Soooo, if you have a smooth ceramic or glass top electric range, the pan on the bridge will work. I assume it will work very well with the gas bridge element as well. The handles are a bit uncomfortable. They are in the shape of a Viking pan which I own. They're manageable, so don't be intimidated.
