I'm keeping them (bought two) because all the other pans are Viking. They don't look like the classic heavy Viking construction seen on 3 and 5 ply types. These are great cake pans and good pans. I would suggest the cheaper type if you don't want the Viking label.

I was hesitant to buy a pan after reading review after review and always finding something negative, but I chose this one and I'm so glad I did! When I unpacked this pan I thought I had to return it. My stove is electric with a smooth glass surface. I needed a smooth bottom grille for the bridge element; A photo of the bottom of the pan was not posted. My heart sank when I saw that there was a small protrusion around the bottom perimeter and that the pan was not resting squarely on the bridge.
