Review on ๐Ÿšฝ Valterra-T1003VPM Bladex 3-Inch Waste Valve Body: Metal Handle, Mess-Free RV/Camper/Trailer Waste Valve - Black by David Alvarez

Unfortunately this does not work

The common problem with this valve is simple - it leaks. And it doesn't drip a bit, "flexible glue will fix that" - I would get the same results if I pulled out my old valve, went to the kitchen, took out the little strainer we use for cocktails and put it back in Place. In particular, the problem lies in two visible horizontal gaps between the valve body and the blade inside. When I saw it, I thought that such a huge defect certainly cannot be, and that when it was installed in the pipe, a miracle would happen and the rubber seal over it would somehow have enough pressure that nothing would leak. . However, when installed, the water behaves exactly as expected according to the laws of hydrodynamics and happily continues to make its way around the blade, with only intermittent inconvenience caused by incomplete compaction en route. However, I tried to improvise and actually built a whole new second seal using Flex Glue to extend the rubber seal that came with it. It hasn't worked yet. I think if I caulk and glue it it will still find a way to let water through. Too bad because I bought a different size valve from the same manufacturer that used to work fine. Maybe I really got a bug.
