Yes, I could spend half a day looking for parts at my local hardware store and a few more hours assembling. It would be a lost day if I could dive instead. I have two HP117's and not only does it roll (side to side) but the rubber rings keep them from sliding back and forth. I think they were designed for the AL80 - you won't be able to get through three HP117s well (hence the 4 stars). I would recommend that they provide an extra rope to be able to extend it for the HP117 option if needed (or provide a separate product for the HP117).
