Better than manual work
No instructions and a long time to get used to. Definitely needs water to work properly, but neither the water nor the shells have anywhere to fall down and drain. So it makes a real mess if you don't do it in one sink, and it doesn't fit side by side in a standard sized double sink. On the other hand, he cleaned about 10 dozen eggs in less than 20 minutes and only destroyed about 1/3 of them - most of them at the beginning we find out. Definitely a time saver when preparing large numbers of eggs.
