****** Attention Toyota Tundra and Sequoia owners ****** After installing a K&N cold air intake and filter (2008 Toyota Sequoia Limited 5.7L V8), the engine has a loud whistle at low rpm and when you start pressing the gas pedal. After extensive research and hours on discussion forums, I found out that the whistling noise is caused by the installed throttle body gasket cover. The recommended solution is to crop the screen and it seems the whistling noise goes away? Since my motor is old, I have to order a new gasket and remove the mesh screen (gasket is about $20) and put a new gasket in. No big deal, I just spent hours of my time looking for an air leak in the system, no, and looking for an "online" solution.
