I bought this juicer 3 months ago when I started making juice. I didn't know what exactly I was doing and if the "lifestyle" would continue, so I didn't want to invest in an expensive car. I read COUNTLESS reviews on Amazon and chose this one. and I am SUPER happy with this juicer! I juice at least 5 times a week (and I do a lot of juice at once) and I've had no problems. is it a bit noisy yes, a little, but not crazy at all, and what do you expect from a machine that squeezes juice from carrots? Some reviews said it doesn't squeeze all the juice from the fruit/veg, yes that's true. so I just toss the squeezed pulp into the bowl and squeeze the juice again! I get a few more ounces out and then almost all the juice spills out! Since I'm making a lot of juice at once, I remove the pulp once or twice per "session", but it doesn't matter much. again I just throw it in the bowl to re-squeeze the juice and the second "juicing" is very quick. I don't think cleaning will be that difficult. I usually just wash it well with my hands and let it air dry. I clean the filter with my fingers between thumb and forefinger/middle finger and then scrape off the excess with the hard part of the sponge for about 2 seconds. I will wash it in the dishwasher once a week to ensure a good cleaning and disinfection. Bought another one for my office today and I'm so glad there's fresh juice at work! Also, I hope to inspire my colleagues to eat healthier instead of always ordering fast and deadly food! At first they were thrilled when I came in with my juice and thought it looked gross. I convinced most to give it a try and everyone loved it! HOORAY! I know some people talk about the difference between a Vitamix smoothie and a juicer. I think they are 2 different animals. If I want the nutrients to go straight into the blood, I squeeze the juice. If I want a smoothie with fiber, I'm a Vitamix! (qvc has 3 easy payments so it's better for the wallet!) I didn't have another juicer so can't compare. but my friend has another brand and in my opinion it is more difficult to clean and noisier. and more expensive! JUST DO IT! and happy juice!
