I bought this product because it is advertised as IPX7 waterproof. "7" means it can be submerged in water to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. This applies to both the transmitter and the collars. I would not buy a similar product without an IPX7 rating. GOOD: The collars are simple, lightweight, with an easy-to-use on/off button and indicator light. A short press turns the collar on or off. The transmitter is solidly built. The keys are flush, so you have to press them consciously. This is a good feature. There is no lanyard included, but it can be easily attached. The range corresponds to the declared or more. The antenna is unscrewed - you can put some Loctite on the threads to make sure it doesn't come loose. The transmitter can control up to three collars. Pairing the collar with the transmitter is very easy. Only a USB charging cable (no charger) is supplied, which ends with two coaxial connectors. This is done for sealing purposes, as the micro USB connector is more difficult to protect from moisture and is much less durable. It comes with two spare contact points. (More on this below.) Backlit LCD display shows collar number (1-2-3) and stimulation level. (More on that below.) NOT SO GOOD: There's no sign of the collars needing to be charged until they just die. It would be beneficial if the indicator on the collar turned red when the battery is low. It's not like this. Collars just don't work anymore. BAD: If properly trained, the dog will come running towards you when you sound the signal. If the dog is distracted, sending a vibration should be more than enough. The shock is a punishment. Shock collars can cause personality and behavior changes in dogs. Unfortunately, the developers of this product made two VERY BAD decisions. First, there is only one stimulation setting. This applies to both vibration and shock. I can't understand why you need to change the strength of the vibration. A fixed amount is fine. But with this collar, the strength of the vibration and the strength of the shock are related. This means if you set the vibration strength to 100 and decide to shock the dog, the dog will be shocked at 100. That's inhuman. In fact, anything over 20 is inhuman. The designers' second misconception is that the level of stimulation is the same for all dogs. It's just stupid. A large dog may need more stimulation than a small one. With other collars, you can adjust the stimulation strength for each dog individually. My solution to this problem was simple. Contact points will not be set up. I encourage you to do the same. If you do some research, you'll find that stun collars actually increase the likelihood of developing unwanted behaviors.
