Excellent flashlights! I connected 4 strips (and part 5) together and powered them at both ends with a 10A power supply. With no power in the center, you'll have to turn the brightness down to get the colors looking right, but that's fine at night. I use the FastLED library, which I like a lot better than Adafruit because it has better brightness control (even at the individual LED level) and several handy features. Powered by fake Arduino Mega (Uno didn't have enough memory for about 600 LEDs). Alitov also provided great support - he answered questions and sent me a new strip when one of them partially stopped working.
