I bought these for my baby's bath so that he could have fun and start to wind down for the night when he gets his daily bath. The lights are absolutely waterproof and there are a lot of color options as well as brightness settings. It really sets the scene and makes everything very relaxing. I would use these in my own bathtub for sure to give a spa feeling. Overall, a great purchase and I have been using every night for several weeks and have not had to replace the batteries at all and the lights have not even begun to dim. Would buy more for sure.
