Hello! These thigh high footless medical compression stockings are great! I'm 5'3 and 150 pounds with most of my weight in my glutes and hamstrings. I also have swelling in my thighs from vein problems and a quadriceps injury. My vein doctor recommended me 20-30mm thick compression stockings to reduce swelling and prevent upcoming procedures. It's really convenient! Not tight enough to suffocate my swollen legs but firm enough to support my feet. I have more energy due to increased blood flow. When I take them off after a long day at work, my legs look as good as when I wake up in the morning! This is a game changer, but of course you also need to find the medicinal root of your edema. They have silicone inserts at the top of the stockings which I find comfortable and not allergic to. They stay in place and go all the way to my feet. There is an extra piece at the bottom, not sure if it should cover part of my legs? I prefer to wear socks and I just tuck the excess onto my ankles. I don't even notice, they are so comfortable and make my legs look beautiful!
