I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I like it. It is very accurate in terms of power measurement. It draws a powered iPad when plugged in, about 6 watts. When I turn on the light, the magnification is very close to what I would expect. The solar readings are almost identical to those displayed on one of my dual inverters and range from 3-6 watts (up to 10,000) and this is compared to the display on the inverters which is constantly changing. Some people complain about device identification. In 2 weeks I found 8 devices and identified them pretty accurately. If Sense's label is wrong, you can easily change it. You also need to understand how authentication works. It only looks for electrical fingerprints, not just a direct increase/decrease in power consumption to be recorded. Many devices are a power consumption option. I have a heater that climbs the energy ladder when it's on. The coffee maker turns on and off. The computer changes its power consumption with almost every activity, opening a file, playing a video, etc. Just by monitoring the grid voltage, it doesn't recognize all the devices in your house individually, but if you want a great snapshot of your home usage and high accuracy of solar production, You will love this device.
