I'm just a homeowner upgrading my house to add some wired CAT5e cables in multiple rooms. Just a jack of all trades or a jack of all trades, a master of nothing. So I don't have a professional point of view. I ordered 5 pieces and already installed them. The installation only took a few minutes. Here are a few subtleties you might want to be aware of: 1) Use the punch tool if you can. They are very cheap and worth the money. 2) Use a network tester to make sure you connected the connector properly. They're pretty cheap too. 3) Leave plenty of slack in the cable so you can puncture the cable and not hold the connector. Especially if you use a hammer drill. One slip can land you in the emergency room. 4) Read the instructions that came with the wall plate to properly insert the bushing. I even watched a video on a site that sells cymbals to see them roll into cymbals. I say all this because it's easy to damage the connector when trying to connect it to the connector. That's all I have. Have fun networking!
