🔌 High-Quality Yellow Monoprice Cat5E Keystone Jack for Punch Down Connections (105377) Review

This is a great little Cat5e trapezoid stone for work or home use. I bought a few of these for use on my home network and they connect easily and maintain the speeds I need on my network at a very low price. The quality is good and it is very easy to use with no instructions based on the visible graphics and labels on the connector.

Easy to install, no hole punch needed although I had one at home. You don't have to remove the insulation either. The two clips that come with the kit push the wires far enough to connect them to the panels. Interestingly, they were made by Monoprice. I say this because before I came to Revain I checked Monoprice and couldn't find these jacks. It probably looks bad.

I bought two for some projects around the house and they were easy to install after a little reading and a basic tutorial on youtube even as a beginner like me. The sides of the connector itself were clearly color coded and were designed for easy installation as I didn't need to refer to the exterior material - you just need to make sure you know what series of color codes your cable uses and follow the guides. The seller sent the best category 6 products when category 5e products were not available, although I wanted them to be printed with a category 5e label. In any case, marking the jack with a hiliter for category 5e was just as effective.
