Understand that this replacement block differs from the Ford replacement block not only in price, but also in a few things that some people might not like. The center of this manifold is smaller than the stock Ford manifold, allowing you to hear more engine noise. This unit also comes with spare screws as none of your old Ford units will work. (Excluding the X3 alternator housing) The bolts on each of your coil packs will need to be replaced with the bolts sent to you. The Ford header has threaded inserts in each hole, I like that a bit better. Also, the nozzle guide screws will need to be replaced with screws that will be shipped to you. (a bit cheesy). For those who don't know, the torque specs are 216 in.lb and the sequence is on this distributor. Remember that your thermostat housing is part of this sequence. The most important thing when replacing the old one is to really clean the block so that the new one finds a good place. Excellent for everything.
