First, disclaimer. I don't know many other desktop cameras or their latest features. I do web conferencing daily for work and hobbies and now sync with my family members across the country. A clear video image is important to me and something that can work in low light conditions. I have used Logitech cameras in the past and ordered another one in March like many others. After a few months without a camera, I saw this variant of Revain. This camera came in 3 days and is the best desktop webcam I have ever owned. My favorite aspects after a month of use. 1 - The tripod is fantastic. It's fully adjustable and pretty slick. I also hate attaching, cutting, or screwing peripherals to my monitor. Cameras pointing down or up at your face are not ideal and will always look distorted during a video call. So having a tripod that I can adjust to be flush with my face is a huge plus for me. The tripod is very easy to adjust with three separate articulated legs. Note for those who don't like clutter, it may take up some space with a tripod. I hide mine behind a very large monitor so I can't always see it. This tripod comes with the camera and is fully adjustable.2 - Image quality is excellent in low light. I don't need to stream 4k or even 1080p (although the camera offers 1080p), but I like a camera that can adjust to my lighting settings. This one makes it fast without all that autofocus you see on some cameras (my laptop's built-in camera automatically adjusts every 30 seconds). I do a lot of web conferencing (Zoom, Teams, G Suite) and this camera gives everyone a crisp picture.3 - Easy to use. Plug and play exactly as described. Ready to use.4 - No hardware/software issues. No drivers need to be updated. no third party software to play around with.5 - Design. This chamber has a subtle smoothness. Some cameras have LED options, multiple colors. I love that this camera is black on black and it goes well with my desktop. So far I can not imagine any disadvantages of this camera / tripod. I use it every day and have never had any problems with it. I would recommend it and would most likely choose it over a high end Logitech camera if it was available at a reasonable market price.
