Works well considering they don't remove the source of the odor and according to the fine print these 200g packs are for small spaces (closets, drawers, bathrooms , etc.), no large/medium sized rooms. They're basically more versatile, more aesthetically pleasing, and slightly more effective than using a box of baking soda for the same purpose. No sign of leakage even after giving it a little nudge and shaking it over a light colored surface. A minus point is that the rings can rust (see photo), although in most cases this probably isn't a big deal.
