I won't waste time discussing the legs other than I'm happy with them and luckily my old top head fits great. On the other hand, the K&F ball head doesn't fit me. Any component like this is only as good as its weakest link, and in this case it's the mounting plate that screws into your camera body. When I fully tighten this screw in my case where it can no longer turn (for threading on my Nikon Z5 and FTZ adapter) the plate is still loose. Basically, the unthreaded part of the screw is too long. Now the only way I can get this to work is by developing a solution. Either by sharpening the screw slightly (although there isn't much extra thread) or by forming a friction seal between the plate and the camera body. I'm leaning toward the latter because the rubberized "K&F" symbol on the record looks horribly inappropriate right from the start. Whoever came up with this should be ashamed. Anyone who authorizes mass production and sale should be fired.
